Staff at front desk were very friendly, room was clean tidy. Nice quite hotel and will stay there on my next trip to Dublin. Would stay there again.
Has dinner there prior to going to concert, food was not anything near the quality the price would have suggested it was!! We ordered omelette but was unable to eat it as it was covered in grease & roast special with veg but there was only one veg, runner peas, cheap veg, should have had better. This hotel could greatly improve their status if they looked at their kitchen staff & improved this section. Smoking out front of hotel & no ashtrays provided!!!??
Over priced accomadation and food
The front desk very good and understanding. The waiter also thanked us for staying with them, above all the Hotel was good
The bar need to generate more customers
Good location for Grand Canal Theatre. Bar area nice and staff welcoming in bar.
Hotel needs refurbishment in the bedrooms. Heating not working, shower burning hot and broken so could not be adjusted and the wardrobe door was literally hanging off. When pointed out to hotel staff upon check out no comment was made or attempt at apology I was simply handed my bill and told to have a nice day. This alone would stop me returning.
Clean,friendly,lovely decor and location
big beds, location, very comfortable, helpful staff.
Very close to city centre. Clean and friendly staff.
Would stay again but would request a room away from the front. Very busy road.
Quite close to the conference center. Bed was comfortable. Iron and board available.
Room: only two tiny windows with bars, very dark room. Bathroom needs to be renovated (flush didn't work properly, cracked tiles, sudden water temperature changes etc.). Room needs new furniture (very dirty and worn soft chair and carpet), except the bed which was clean and comfortable. Only five TV channels and W-LAN quite expensive. Staff: cleaning ladies knocked on my door at 8 am on various days and thus woke me up. Reception staff was ok, but didn't greet or say goodbye. Location: quite deserted in the evening, might be a bit scary for single female travellers
When booking hotel I asked amember of your staff on reception if the bar closed esrly as we were going to a show and wanted to come back to our hotel for a nice relaxing drink the lady on the phone told me the bar closed same time as the pubs, however on arivil to the hotel we were told bar closed at 10pm which did not meet our needs at all in fact we would have left on my Mother had given her credit card details. Staff mislead us on booking the hotel. As for the room there was only one tea bag for two people and the breckfast was very poor indeed I was paid an extra €20 for breckfast and it was very poor. I would never stay there again and I will not be recomending it to my famile or friends.
Very poor and badly run
lovely room lovely bar all in very good
being pensioners the walk to and from grafton st oconnell st and temple bar was tiring taking about 20 mins
We liked the room, very genreous size and great bed for man over six foot. great hot water and bath with good tea and coffee and access to water.
Staff at reception were not friendly when my wife first went to reception.
1st room smelt of smoke; 2nd room was not overly clean; lift was not smooth running;
Staff / location / price / parking
No dislikes .... we had a good positive experience and we will use your hotel again.
Clean, roomy, good food and friendly staff
Car traffic was very Noisy and kept waken us, we were on the second floor facing the road
